Gospel of Lupus

There once was a writer named L.C. Lupus. He wrote various things and remained in obscurity, but the world eventually came to an end. Someone once bought a few of his books, and they took them back home. That unknown patron also eventually perished. The books were all that remained, and a small group of survivors happened upon them. Rather than identifying them as creative works, they believed them to be religious texts and modelled their society after these literary works. How long has it been?
